On this course you’ll learn to make diving safe and more enjoyable for yourself
and for others, how to manage a dive accident if it occurs, and even how to
recognize and prevent them.
Challenging and rewarding best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken. You'll cover: Self-rescue and diver stressEmergency management and equipment Panicked diver response In-water rescue breathing protocols Egress (exits) Dive accident scenarios Minimum age: 16 years. Prerequisites: PADI advanced open water or equivalent, with proof of 20 or more dives documenting experience in deep diving and underwater navigation. First aid and CPR go hand in hand with this course and completion of a sanctioned course in CPR is required for certification as a PADI Rescue Diver. We can run the PADI Emergency First Response course in conjunction with the Rescue course which fulfils these requirements, ask your instructor for details. Course includes: Manual and slate, all equipment, training and PADI Certification. |
