The Bowl Calpe• Description: At the tip of the Penon is The Bowl. This site can only be dived when the sea is calm. We start the dive in the cove at the point of the Penon then swim around to the south side . We swim back through a swim through to an area of the rock carved out by the sea to form a perfect soup bowl into which 4 to 5 divers can fit. In this area lots of the larger fish congregate including from time-to-time the peculiar shaped sunfish. Most often here we find large octopus, conger eels and moray eels.• Entry to dive site: boat. • Depth: 15 - • Time to dive site: 10 minutes.
